While sadly the complete airframe could not be saved, thankfully the cockpit section was. But the cockpit alone was a mammoth task for anyone wanting to restore. As many of you will have seen, the aircraft fell into a dire state over many many years, with lots of items either being taken off her or vandalised. Even more damage inflicted while the cockpit was being separated from the fuselage in the scrapyard. But nothing was deemed beyond repair and so the story of the Phoenix rising from the ashes begins. While she'll never take to the sky again, she can once again be looked at in awe by the public.
This website is designed to run alongside our other social media platforms as part of a complete package including the actual restoration itself. But if you wish to stay up to date in real time then please feel free to join one of our social media pages.
Lastly may I thank you for all the support we have received over the years and your continued interest in our project to restore and preserve XN728 for years to come.
Thank you
